River Hill Dental is proud to have been named New Business of the Year by the Pictou County Chamber of Commerce in 2018 for its rapid growth and success during its first year of operation.
Best Dental Office/Dentist in the Pictou County Reader’s Choice Awards
River Hill Dental and Dr. Hill were also recognized as Best Dental Office/Dentist in the Pictou County Reader’s Choice Awards when they occurred in 2018 and 2019.
Nova Scotia Dental Association Community Award
Dr. Hill was awarded the Nova Scotia Dental Association Community Award in 2018 for her leadership and dedication to community development.
Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry
Dr. Hill completed the Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry from the Global Institute of Dental Education and Loma Linda University in California in 2018-2019.
Bioclear Method Training
Dr. Hill, Dr. Hines, and Dr. Fraser have all completed training on Bioclear Method for innovative and non-invasive esthetic restorative techniques.
Certified Invisalign Providers
Dr. Hill, Dr. Hines, and Dr. Fraser are all certified in Invisalign clear aligner orthodontic therapy, and River Hill Dental was recognized as a Gold Level Invisalign Provider in 2022.
Northern Nova Scotia Dental Society
Our three dentists are active members of the Northern Nova Scotia Dental Society, including Dr. Hill serving several terms as President, and Dr. Hines and Dr. Fraser currently serving as secretary and treasurer.
Nova Scotia Dental Association
Dr. Hill, Dr. Hines, and Dr. Fraser are all members of the Nova Scotia Dental Association, and have worked on various committees ranging from professional development, wellness, and government relations.
Canadian Dental Association
Dr. Hill was the Nova Scotia representative on the Canadian Dental Association National Task Force for the Future of the Profession from 2017-2019.
RBC Women of Influence Nominee
Dr. Hill is a multiple-time nominee for the RBC Canadian Women of Influence Entrepreneur Awards.
Verna van Bommel Community Mentor Award
Dr. Hill was awarded the Verna van Bommel Community Mentor Award by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pictou County in 2017.

Dr. Hill was featured by Nova Scotia Dentist magazine for her commitment to leadership through professional and community development.

Dr. Hill was named Top 50 Under-40 Leaders in Atlantic Canada by 21inc in 2015.
Canadian Dental Association President’s Award
Dr. Hill was the recipient of the Canadian Dental Association President’s Award for “outstanding qualities of leadership, scholarship, character, and humanity, and who will be expected to have a distinguished career in the dental profession and society at large.”

Dr. Hill is a member of the Canadian Association of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
